While being part of War All project since its beginning in September 2006, War All 2008 collection was the first one I designed as an organic creation.
The idea is quite simple : put 20th century iconic people on t-shirts, like Andy Warhol (hence the name!) used to do with his portraits. Faces are shown without any other elements, so our t-shirts can be wore both by followers and opponents.
In 2008 we first introduced silkscreen print and multicoloured faces, which permitted a wider variations in colour schemes. I drew lots of new characters, including Allegria, JFK, Mahatma, E=mc² and the most ambitious PapaRatz.
The style was much smoother than the previous designs and there was also a chance to create a cubic logo variation which had a lot of success on t-shirts and sweatshirts.
